PROJECT 2
This waste project is a little different then the first. This project takes this into the house of the public and turns this into an individual project. Again, this project is to see how much recycling-to-waste we produce and how much we can actually recycle. We also added another element this time. We are recording actual compost that is being put back into the earth. This project will go on for 13 to 14 weeks and will be documented. A piece of art will be made out of this project for the person who decided to take on this artwork in their house. From the person: Although I am a fairly green already, I really wanted to see how collecting my waste for 14 weeks might make a difference in my selection packaged items and purchases. I have already noted changes in my behavior. Plastic bags are reused for purchasing bulk foods, instead boxed product. Almost
all the compost materials where used in week 4 to enrich the soil where
I will be planning shrubs or annual plants. |

3 months only 5 trash bags of actual waste was the end result. Everything
